Abstract: Two new species of the tenebrionid genus Prosodes Eschscholtz, 1829 are described from Iran: P. fabiani sp. n. (Prov. Kordestan) and P. vigi sp. n. (Prov. Fars); they belong to the subgenus Meropersina Reitter, 1909.
