Abstract: A study on microzetid oribatids, newly collected from Venezuela or from other parts of South America. Description and/or redescription of ten species are given. Discussion of the genus Cosmozetes Balogh et Mahunka, 1969 and Protozetes Balogh, 1962. Key for the heretofore known species of Protozetes is given. With 26 figures.
