Title: A new Trypetimorpha species from Australia and new data to the knowledge of the genus (Homoptera, Archaeorhyncha: Tropiduchidae)

Abstract: New data are presented on the planthopper fauna of Australia, Taiwan and Thailand on the basis of the Oriental and Pacific planthoppers deposited in the HungarianNatural History Museum. Hitherto 8 valid species have been described from the genus Trypetimorpha A. COSTA, 1862; the material investigated in the present paper represents six species, and a new species is described from Australia. Figures on habitus and tegmen of a T. pilosaHORVÁTH, 1907 syntype is given for the first time with additional new figure on its genitalia. T. japonica ISHIHARA, 1954 and T. sizhengiHUANG etBOURGOIN, 1993 are new to the fauna of Thailand. With 28 figures and one table.
