Abstract: Larvae and adults of Aedes geminus PEUS, 1970 were collected on 22nd April 2011
and 26th April 2012 at four sites of the PilisMts,Hungary. Larvaewere bred, and altogether 14
adults were identified by male genitalia. This is the first record of this species in Hungary.
