Abstract: Hungarian locality records of Sibinia beckeri (Desbrochers, 1873), a weevil considered to be rare in Europe, are summarised. Research carried out after 2010 significantly extended the data about the species in Hungary as well as its know distribution. Observations on the biology of this beetle are also included. With 4 figures.
