Abstract: Faunistical data of 34 species of skippers and butterflies (Hesperiidae, Lycaenidae, Nymphalidae, Papilionidae, Pieridae) and 179 species of owlet moths (Noctuidae) are given from Kazakhstan as the result of a collecting trip carried out in 2009. A list of 15 collecting sites is given. Every collecting site is briefly characterised and supplemented by the list of lepidopterans recorded. With 8 figures.
