Abstract: Author records Parker’s article on the possible pedogenesis in the Blow-Fly and points to the fact that some species of Musca lay eggs, others deposit larvae. He considers it to be an open question wether some species of Musca are exclusively oviparous and others depositing larvae or is it possible that the same species can lay eggs at one time and larvae at another.
