Abstract: Author gives some new lepidopterological data concerning the moth fauna of Ócsa (County of Pest, Middle-Hungary). New forthcomings in Hungary are: Acronycta leporina ab. Sundevalli Lampa, Gortyna leucostigma ab. albipuncta Tutt. Rarities: Psyche bombycellus Schiff., Acronycta leporina ab. melanocephala Mansbridge, Polia splendens Hb. Hyphilare impudens Hb., Gortyna leucostigma Hb., G. leucostigma ab. fibrosa Hb., Arenostola extrema Hb., Aspilates formosariaEv. Athor describes further a new aberration of Boarmia punctularia Hb., as ab. simpliciaria nov. ab. (11. VII. 1943, Ócsa, Old-Moor.) Its distinguishing characteristics are as follows:a) Colour: ashen-gray. The white besprinkling of the species is absent.b)From the three diagonal lines the middle one (which usuallyreaches only to the black point in the center of the wing, or does not go even this far) blends with the innermost or basic line.c) The remaining two diagonal lines of smaller and bigger points that are strongly distinguished, separated from each other, and finely drawn out (forma tigris-like), alongside the veins .d) The postmedian line and the darker belt of the rim have disappeared or are hardly visible. This new abberation has no similarity with any other known form of punctularia Hb. All these variations show either darkening or represent some difference in size
