Abstract: Author revised a Cerceris material originating from Hungarian and immediately neighbouring localities, on the basis of about 3.000 specimens. This resulted in 25 species, 1 subspecies and 1 variety. Of the species discussed, 2 are new for the area in question, whilst one is new also to science. The work of revision included also locality data. This paper gives also annotiations concerning them, and it links up with the other recently published Hymenoptera catalogues. (vide L. Móczár, M. Móczár, E. Bajári). Its scope, aim, and discussion agrees with them. the enumeration of ocalities is given conforming to the zoogeographical territories according to L.
