Abstract: The present (and the coming 2) catalogues strictly complete the taxonomical of the Bracon-species of the Carpathian Basin (Papp 1965-66). Lastly Micsáry (1897) (colaborated with Szépligeti) enumerated the localities of the Bracon-species in the Carpathian Basin, Since that time during more than 60 years both the taxonomy of the species changed and the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Budapest) considerable increased. The species of the subgenus Glabrobracon Fahr. was listed inside the genus Bracon Fabr. by Mocsáry (1897:58), similarly to the specis Bracon s. str. (=Striobracon Fahr.) Lucobracon (Fahr.) Tob. and Orthobracon (Fahr.) Tob. In his time only 12 Glabrobracon-species were known from our faunal district (resp. from the territory of the historical Hungary) altogether from 28 localities. Later Szépligeti (1898, 1899), Győrfi (1941, 1953), and Zilahi-Kiss (1915) completed our relevant knowledge with a lot of contributions. By their publications and on the basis of the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Budapest) consisted of 1513 specimens presently we know 22 species, 7 varieties, and 34 aberrations. Viewing the synonymizations and teh misidentifications we have to strike off the following species from our faunal list: B. bipartitus Wesm., B. collinus Szépl. B. efoveolatus Thoms., B. explorator Szépl., B. fumipennis Thoms., B. hyalinipennis Szépl., B.longicaudis Ratz., B. marshalli Szépl., B. pineti Thoms., B. rotundulus Szépl. and B. xanthogaster Nees. on the other hand the text species are new to our fauna: B. chrysostigmus Grese, B. falsus Kok., B. pumilionis Rom. and B. tshitcherini Kok. The species are enumerated according to the same points of view as in the relevant catalogues published up to now (Cat. Hym. I.-XVIII.). The specific names are followed by the designation of the collecting locality according to the zoogeographical arrangement of Móczár (1948), the date of capture, the abbreviation of the name of the collector, finally all eventual ethological data (period of light, flower visiting, hosts).
