Abstract: Since the paper of Dr. Mihályi: "A revison of the Trypetids of the Carpathian Bason (Diptera)." has appeared 1959, a rich material of Trypetids has been collected in the zoological department of the Museum of Natural Sciences. What made their elaboration necessary. Present work contains the data of 1104individuals of 55 species pertaining to 21 genera. That number represents almost the half of the Trypedtids living and identified in the Carpathian Basin. The sequence of enumeration in the paper is the following: scientific name of the fly; name of the foodplant; part of the foodplant of which it was breeded; bo=berry, sz=stalk, te=fruit, vf=flowerhead; locality; if the place of collection was the same, the designation is:Uo; number of the breeding registry sheet; time of collection; if breeded of foodplants, the time of its hatching ; abbreviations of the names of collectors: B=Benedek P., E=Endrődy-Younga S., G=Gozmány L., H=Homonnai F., J=Jenser G., Jy=Jermy T., K=Kakass B.-né., Kb=Kaszab Z., Ku=Kutas E., M=Martinovich V., Má=Márk G.-né., Mi=Mihályi F., Mo=Móczár L., N=Nagy B., P=Papp J., R=Reskovits M., Sné=Solymos B.-né., S=Soós Á., Sze=Szelényi G., Sz=Szőcs J., Te=Tetmayer N., T(Tóth S., U=Ujhelyi S., Zs=Zsirkó G.; number and genus of the flies. New foodplants for the genera follows the sequence of time. The papers gives valuable data of the spread and of the foodplantsof the species Hypenidium novaki Strobl., Euribia maura Frfld., Euribia cardui L., Myopites stylata Fabr., Rhagoletis berberidis Jermy, Oxyna nebulosa Wied., Tephritis hyoscyami L., Tephritis nigricauda Lw., Tephritis fallax Lw., Tephritis separata Rond. The paper also describes a new species for the fauna of the Carpathian Basin to 116. Five Trypetid species were got of the material of the insect light traps of Hungary with a few number of individuals and species. These are: Rhagoletis cerasi L., Phagocarpus permundus R.D. and Sphenella marginata Fall. Worth to mention is, that the Hungarian Trypetides are exclusively species flying by daylight, therefore insect light traps are not suitable for their systematic catching. The flies got of rearing were breeded on foodplants collected in the field. Each plant became infected under natural conditions. Four of the cenumerated foodplants are according to literature to my disponal new records. Ceratitis capitata Wied. occurring in the enumeration of species infected Prunus persica from an infected orange transport imported from Israel. The immediate intercession of the Varning Service organs prohibited an eventual establishement of the species. Since 1960-61 Ceratitis capitata Wied. has not been found in our funaregion.
