Abstract: Icodema infuscatum is new to the Hungarian fauna. Numerous exemplars of this species were collected by the traps of the hungarian light trap network in 1964-66. Based on the data of the trap-material it seems probable that this species is frequent in the Buda-Hills and in the North-mid-mountainous-Range. On the hand of the swarming-data shown on Fig. 1. It is presumable that I. infuscatum has a single generation only.
