Abstract: The study of 472 exemplare of 31 species relegable to 17 Trypetid genera resulted in numerous new data concerning their biology and distribution. Observations on Urophora jaceana Hg., Myopites tenella Frfld., M. inulas Rös., Terellia longicauda Lw., and from the High Tatra, on Stylia doronici Lw., Tephritis heiseri Frfld., and T. ruralis lw. are of special interest.
