Abstract: In applying atocidous control methods the trend to migration or vagility of the investigated pest must be known. Within a closed habitat, as for instance an extensive apple monoculture (estate farm), the codling moth imagos (Laspeyresia pomonella L.) are vagile, but the members of the population tend to keep together. However, imagos arriving in the bordering zone of the habitat – an area under a greater environmental impact – may leave original biotop.
