Abstract: A subfamiliar and generic classification of the family Pygidicranidae Verhoeff, 1902, (Dermaptera) is given, with a consistent grouping of external morphological characteristic and the features of the genital apparatus, in order to establish an identification key for the elaboration of world-wide material.
