Abstract: A review of the macrolepidopterous fauna, on the basis of literature data and several years of collecting, of the Mts. Kőszeg, W Hungary. The enumeration of 732 species from the Hungarian side of the range; 239 species are new to the area. Species new to Hungary are Hyppa rectilinea ESP., Hyd-relia testaceata DONZ., and Eupithecia trisignaria H. -SCH.
