Abstract: Identification of Oxytelus materials preserved in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest, and in the Bakony Natural History Museum, Zirc; of 280 examined male Q. (Anotylus) sculpturatus GRAV. specimens 30 proved to represent O. (Anotylus) mutator LOHSE; the species is new to Hungary.
