Abstract: In 1973 a total of 105, in 1974 47 Symphyta species were collected in the environs of Nagykovácsi. In comparing the present list with the previous 46 species proved to be new to the fauna of this region. Rare or interesting species are the following: Aprosthema melanura Klug, Arge fuscipennis Herrich-Schaeffer, Oussus abietinus Scopoli, Doleur coracinus Klug, Athalia lugens Klug, Athalia rufoscutellata Mocsáry, Macrophya albomacula Mosáry, Macrophya militaris Klug, Tenthredo procera Klug, Kaliofenusa ulmi Sundewall and Messa hortulana Klug.
