Abstract: South Transdanubia es far as macrolepidopterology is concerned has been a fairly unexplored region. Since 1966 extensive collectings and the elaboration of the material have been going on concentrated mainly on the fauna of Villány Mountain, Drava flatland and the Bares Juniperus wood. So far some 800 species have been caught whose data are presented in this contribution.
