Abstract: Faunistical dat a of 103 species of macrolepidoptera. 6 species are new to the Hungarian fauna. Three species are known from the montane-subalpine region of the neighbouring mountains and came out from the highest mountains (Rhyacia latens Hbn., Apamea rubrirenaTr., Entephria cyanata Hbn. ). One species was coUected in the relatively low but flo-ristcally and also faunistically true montane Őrség area (South West Hungary, CucuUia gnaphalii Hbn.). Two further species are of Mediterranean distribution (Callopistria latreiUei Dup., Polymixis flavicincta F. ). Two species (Rhyacia grisescens F., Phlogophora scita Hbn. ) are awaited to occur in Hungary.
