Abstract: A study of type-specimens, preserved partly in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest, partly in the Natural History Museum, Vienna, of species described by Krone, Mann, Prohaska and Zerny. The genital apparatuses of Coleophora helychrisiela Krone, C. drymidis Mann, C. flaviella Mann, C. laticostella mann, C. pellicornella Zerny, C. hafneri Prohaska, 1923, and C. oriolella Zeller, 1849, and between C. turolella Zerny, 1927, and C. escalerai Toll, 1960, are established.
