Abstract: Thirty-six Apanteles Förster species are recorded from Hungary and adjacent countries in the Carpathian Basin. The majority of the species are new to the fauna of Hungary or to the Carpathian Basin. Every species is characterised from the viewpoint of taxonomy and zoogeography (localities, distribution). Herewith the representatives of four species-groups of the genus Apanteles, i.e. ater-, laevigatus-, lineipes-, and obscurus-group, are discussed. New host data of Apanteles appellator Tel., A. britannicus Wilk., A. cheles Nixon, A. dilectus (Hal.), A. evanidus Papp, A. faucula Nixon, A. impurus (Nees), A. lemariei Nixon, A. lenea Nixon, A. midas Nixon and seriphia Nixon are given.Journal: Folia entomologica hungaricaJournal abbreviation: Folia ent. hung.ISSN: 0373-9465Publisher: , Editor(s): Mahunka, S.
