Abstract: Seven new junior synonyms were established during the revision of the type material of European Limosina-species. Three species: Limosina parvula Stenhammar, 1854, L. liliputiana Rondani, 1880 and Coproica pusio (Zetterstedt, 1847) comb. n. were re-instated from the species dubiae; a specific status is given to Limosina Stenh. and L. simplex (Rich.) are briefly characterised with figures of the male and/or female terminalia. lectotypes of six taxa are designated.Journal: Folia entomologica hungaricaJournal abbreviation: Folia ent. hung.ISSN: 0373-9465Publisher: , Editor(s): Mahunka, S.
