Abstract: 403 South African Lamiinae specimens from Transvaal Museum were identified resulting a new genus (Spilotragoides), 13 new species and six new infraspecific taxa. The type-specimens are housed either in the Transvaal Museum, Pretoria, or in the collection of the Agricultural Services Department, Pretoria.
