Abstract: Five new species of Scenopinus are described S. goiensis, S. kaszabi, and S. maculosus from Mongolia; S. afghanistanensis from Afghanistan and S. mariensis from Turkmenia. The new species Metatrichia mongolica firmly establishes the worldwide distribution of the genus Metatrichia.
