Abstract: A checklist of the Hungarian Opiinae and Microgasterinae (sine Apanteles Förster) species is given. The following Microgasterinae genera are represented in Hungary: Hygroplitis Thomson, Hypomicrogaster Ashmead, Microgaster Latreille, Microplitis Förster and Protomicroplitis Ashmead. Every species of faunistical significance is characterized from the viewpoint of taxonomy and zoogeography (localities, distribution). 24 species are new to the fauna of Hungary. New synonyms were established: Microgaster rugosicoxa Papp, 1959= Protomicroplitis meges Nixon, 1965, syn. n.; Microgaster subtilipunctata (Papp, 1959) stat. n. = Microgaster obsepiens Nixon, 1968, syn. n.; Hypomicrogaster dorsalis (Spinola, 1808)= H. suffolciensis (Morley, 1902), syn. n.; Protomicroplitis alvearia (Fabricius, 1798)= Apanteles areolatus Szépligeti, 1896, syn. n.; Protomicroplitis claritibia (Papp, 1959)= P. orontes Nixon, 1965, syn. n. New host records: Microplitis decens Tobias ex Callopistria juventian Stoll, Microplitis heterocera (Ruthe) ex Porphyrinia pannonica Frr., Protomicroplitis claritibia (Papp) ex Plutella maculipennis Curtis.Journal: Folia entomologica hungaricaJournal abbreviation: Folia ent. hung.ISSN: 0373-9465Publisher: , Editor(s): Mahunka, S.
