Abstract: Identification key to 12 species of the genus Iscanus Fauvel, 1904. Description of a new species: I. rarotongae sp. n. and 11 new combination are given, since besides the typical species 9 have been described into the genus Araucaricola Lea, 1929, which is synonymous with Iscanus. One species has been described as Mesotretis Bates, 1872, while one as Araucaricola (trukensis Kulzer, 1957) being a synonym os Araucaricola caroliensis Blair, 1940.
