Abstract: Mites of the genus Luciaphorus Mahunka, 1981, till now only known from the island of St. Lucia (Antilles), were found in Thailand in a commercial mushroom farm near Bangkok. The species is new, and description is given. Because of the great number of mites, beside of females many males could be found and first description of the male of Luciaphorus can be give.
