Abstract: Thirty-seven Apanteles Förster species are recorded from Hungary and the adjacent countries within the Carpathian Basin. The majority of the species are new to the fauna of Hungary or to the Carpathian Basin. Faunistical and taxonomical characteriazation of the species are given.
