Abstract: New coccinellids from Ethiopia. 3 new Scymnus species for Ethiopia are described and figured: S. aethiopensis, S. demeteri and S. parallipennis. They are compared with S. leviaillanti Mulsant. A new synonym is S. africanus Weise. S. pallidulus Wollaston is reestabilished as sp. propr. A new synonym is S. rubiginosus Mader. S. pallidus Fürsch is combinated new as Nephus (Sidis). Brumoides adensis from Aden is described in an appendix.
