Abstract: Scutarus longitarsus Berl. (Acarina: Scutacaridae) is first recorded on sphaerocerid fly Leptocera nigra Olivier (Diptera: Sphaeroceridae). Notes on phoretic relationship between flies (females and males) and mites (females) are given.
