Abstract: Collections of whiteflies from Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, France, G. D. R., Hungary, Italy, Poland, Rumania, and the USSR preserved at the Plant Protection Institute (Budapest, Hungary) resulted 15 species. Among them Aleurochiton acerinus, Aleurochiton aceris, Aleyrodes proletella, Asterobemisia odenbergeri and Siphonius phillyreae new for Bulgaria, Aleurochiton acerinus new for France, Asterobemisia odenbergeri new for Hungary, and Aleurochiton pseudoplatani proved to be new for Rumania. The level of infestation, host plant data with several new ones, and localities of collections were also presented.
