Abstract: During the preparation of a Catalogue of Palaearctic Diptera several changes in nomenclature in the subfamily Tachydromiinae (Diptera, Hybotidae) proved to be necessary. Platypalpus kovalevi nom. n. and Tachydromia microceroides nom. n. are proposed to replace homonyms, and new synonyms are proposed.
