Abstract: Data to the knowledge of Macrolepidoptera from Marosvásárhely (Central Transylvania), which is a less known part of the Carpathian Basin from the point of view of lepidopterology. Among the collected species there are some interesting Macrolepidoptera, e. g. Pyrgus sidae (Esp.), Syrichtus cribellum (Ev.), Zerynthia polyxena (D. and Sch.), Plebejus sephirus (Friv.), Proserpina (Pall.), Dyscia conspersaria (P.), Cletis maculosa mannerheimi (Dup.), Rhyparia purpurata (L.) and Conistra fragariae (Viw.).
