Abstract: 280 species of Heteroptera collected in 1988 and 1989 in the Kiskunság are listed. 66 species are recorded for the first time from this area, of which the mirids Phytocoris austriacus, Pilophorus simulans, Campylomma annulicorne and Tuponia hippophaes, the anthiocorid Amphiareus obscuriceps, the lygaeid Kleidocerys privignis and the cydnid Canthophorus mixtus are new to the Hungarian fauna as wel.
