Abstract: The description of two new anoetid mites (Acari: Anoetidae) deriving from different habitats - Twonew hypopi mites are described: Anoetostoma nerminka sp. n., from rodent burrow in corn field (Assiut, Egypt) and Histiostoma pickaxei sp. n., from the skin of dead animal (El-Minia, Egypt), and from wheat (Matay, Beni Suef, Egypt).
