Abstract: Five species of the genus Nematus Panzer, out of which four are new (Nematus maculipodus sp. n„ N. brunniventris sp. n., N. kaleri sp. n. and N. fulvidus sp. n.) and one (N. nigricornis Lepeletier) as first record are reported from India. All the species have been described and illustrated on a uniform pattern. An identification key is provided for the species dealt herewith.
