Abstract: Ridgea gen. n. based on Ridgea kalatopense sp. n. is described and illustrated from Himachal Pradesh, India. Though on the basis of some morphological features this new genus seems to be somewhat associated with Rohwerina Malaise, but there are several features which make it distinct from the related taxon.
