Abstract: Description and taxonomic position of Bracon (Glabrobracon) dilatus sp. n. is presented. By its long ovipositor apparatus the new species is related to the following species: B. (G.) dolichurus Marshall, B. (G.) fumatus Szépligeti, B. (G.) lividus Telenga, B. (Lucobacon) meyeri Telenga, B. (G.) pineti Thomson and B. (G.) trypanophorus Marshall. The species B. (G.) dolichurus Marshall and B. (G.) fumatus Szépligeti are redescribed and their taxonomic position reassessed. The name B. (G.) csikii Szépligeti, 1901 is a new junior synonym of B. (G.) dolichurus Marshall, 1897 sen. syn. and the name dolichurus is revalidate over B. (G.) monticola Kokujev, jun. syn. Lectotypes and paralectotypes are desigated for B. (G.) brunneipennis Szépligeti, B. (G.) csikii and B. (G.) fumatus.
