Abstract: Selected faunistical data of four collecting trips,( 1992-1994) to Croatia (Istria) and Slovenia (Julian-Alps), the northernmost distributional data of Egira anatolica and Maraschia gris-escens, and some notes on the most interesting species are given. Dichonia aprilina var. obscurior stat. nova is designated. The taxon described as a subspecies from North Italy, but in the Podgorje surroundingsthe nominate form and "ssp. obscurior" can be found virtually sympatrically. This sympatric occurrence should be considered as a var. of aprilina.
