Abstract: Histiostomatic hypopi (heteromorphic deutonymphs) were extracted from manure and dunghills in the animal-farm of Shandaweel at Sohag, upper Egypt. The present study resulted four interesting species, new to science: Histiostoma negmi sp. n., Histiostoma alii sp. n., Histiostoma manuri sp. n. and Histiostoma farghali sp. n.Keywords: Acari, new species, Astigmata, Egypt.
