Year: 2000
Volume: 61
Pages: 298-300.

Abstract: The ant species Lasius neglectus was described on the basis of specimens collected in three localities of Budapest, Central Hungary. In this paper further locality data are given also from Budapest, but one from Tahi (north of Budapest), Érd (south of Budapest) and Debrecen (Eastern Hungary), respectively. Voucher specimens are deposited in the Zoological Department of the Hungarian Natural History Museum. All colonies were polygynous. Most probably L. neglectus was introduced into the sites newly recorded by anthropogenic way.
