Abstract: This article gives a summary of Hungarian stonefly faunistical data according to previous publications and the collection data of the authors. Two species new to the region are reported: Leuctra carpathica Kis, 1966 and Leuctra mortoni Kempny, 1899. The interesting but not well-documented Leuctra prima Kempny, 1899 and Perla pallida Gucrin, 1838 are also discussed. So the total number of exactly published Hungarian stoneflies with the two new species is 61. The collecting of L. prima and P. pallida in our waters was expected, but the presence of L. carpathica in the Zemplén Mts and L. mortoni in the Bükk Mts is interesting from ecological standpoint.
