Abstract: New and less known Middle European Bruchidae species are listed with regard to their distribution, synonymy, host plants and faunistical and taxonomical notes: Bruchidius poupillieri, Bruchus dentipes, B. griseomaculatus, B. libanensis, B. rufipes, B. venustus. Bruchus occidentalis, formerly a subspecies of B. sibiricus, is now treated as a valid species-level taxon. Bruchidius spec, prope varius, an unknown species often confounded with B. martinezi, is discussed.
