Abstract: One species each of Chaoboridae, Dixidae and Ditomyiidae, 10 species of Keroplatidae, two species each of Mycetobiidae and Stratiomyidae, as well as three species of Scatopsidae are reported for the first time from Hungary. Four genera (Holoplagia, Rhexosa, Berkshiria and Neopachygaster) and altogether 20 species new for the Hungarian fauna are recorded.
