Abstract: Platybunus paliidus, is a harvestman with disjunct Carpathian distribution recorded for the first time from the Zemplén Mts, NE Hungary. The article gives illustrations on the features of the male, and a description of its habitat. This is the 29th harvestmen species recorded from Hungary.
