Abstract: The occurrence of the noctuid moth species Ochropleura leucogaster (Freyer, 1831) is recorded for the first time from Hungary, County Vas. The species is compared with O. plecta (Linnaeus, 1761) and the distinguishing characteristics of the species are given.
