Abstract: A new species of the subgenus Trichocera (Saltrichocera) is described. In addition to 15 species of Trichocera known from Hungary, six other species of this subgenus are recorded: T. (S.) brevis Krzeminska, 2002; 77 (5.) implicata Dahl, 1976; T. (S.) michali Krzeminska, 1999; 77. (S.) montium Stary, 2001; 77. (S.) recondita Stary, 2000 and 77. (S.) sparsa Stary, 1996.
