Abstract: The taxonomic revelance of the clypeal setae of the "horned" jumping spider genus Thorelliola (Strand, 1942) is discussed. A consequent nomenclature of setae is proposed. Diagnostic characters, delimiting the genus are discussed. A new soecies, Thorelliola cyrano sp. n. is described.
