Abstract: The collection material of the species of Sepsis Fallén in the Hungarian Natural History Museum was studied. The "classical" collection was partly revised and more than 1500 males were newly identified. Fifteen species were found, three of them,S. barbata, S. fissa and S. luteipes are reported from Hungary for the first time.
